Deutsche Post Direkt is Deutsche Post’s subsidiary that specialises in dialogue marketing and address and data management. The company was established in 1998 and currently employs over 100 staff at its offices in Troisdorf (Germany). Deutsche Post Direkt has been certified with the ISO/IEC 27001 and it is a member of the Deutscher Dialogmarketing Verband (DDV - German dialogue marketing association).
Deutsche Post Direkt is divided into two business units: Dialogue Marketing and Data Management.
The postal reference database forms the core of all the services provided by the company. The database, which is managed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is characterised by daily data maintenance and a level of coverage, with over 220 million data records, that makes it unique in Germany. This ensures that the services provided by Deutsche Post Direkt are market-leading in terms of quality.
The Dialogue Marketing business unit provides the complete range of services from address cleansing, enhancement and analysis to address leasing. Using the self-service online service modules, advertisers can model their target group and select it for new customer acquisition in real time, thereby enhancing their advertising impact. Mail-shots to regular customers can be optimised via address cleansing, thereby enabling advertisers, amongst others, to reduce their costs for returns. Deutsche Post Direkt successfully supports its customers in individual projects with analytical methods and tools that have been tried and tested in dialogue marketing.
The Data Management business unit develops and manages standard products and customised data use and data monetisation solutions. To this end, it provides data-as-a-service solutions with a high lock-in effect for customers’ business processes based upon an address-based multi-source/multi-identifier data management platform. By ensuring that only reliable and correct data are used in business processes, companies maintain control over important information relating to their core business, meaning that Deutsche Post Direkt also effectively helps its customers to implement their data governance.
