You received a request to send in your proof of life 2024 and have not received any pension payments since the end of November?
That's because Renten Service did not receive your proof of life 2024 on time by mid-October.
Payment will resume as soon as we have received your Certificate of Life, filled out by you and confirmed by an authorized institution. Please send it immediately by mail to Renten Service in Leipzig.
Please note: Submissions by fax and e-mail will not be accepted!
Please bear in mind that several proofs of life may be necessary if you receive more than one pension.
- Pension beneficiaries residing abroad:
Since you are entitled to German pension payments from a statutory pension or accident insurance provider, you must submit evidence upon request that you continue to meet the requirements to receive those payments. - Pension beneficiaries residing in Germany:
Since you live in Germany, are a pension beneficiary of German pension payments from a statutory pension or accident insurance provider, and have a bank account abroad, you must provide annual proof of life beginning this year.
Requirements for your 2024 proof of life:
- The certificate of life form must be personally signed by the pension beneficiary in Section A2 and confirmed by an authorized institution in Section B.
- If the pension recipient is unable to write, confirmation of this fact must be provided in Section C1 of the certificate of life.
- If the pension beneficiary is unable to visit an authorized institution in person, confirmation of this fact must be provided in Section C1 of the certificate of life. The name of the person who visited the authorized institution on behalf of the pension beneficiary must be given in Section C2.
- The original copy of the certificate of life must be returned by letter mail to the following address:

Germany - If you receive more than one pension, more than one proof of life may be needed.
- In this case, several forms for the 2024 life certificate or several 2024 Digital Proof of Life letters were sent to you together with your pension adjustment notification.
- Please provide all required proofs of life.
